I have been working in film and video since 1981. My storytelling and technical skills were honed working as a news and on-line post-production editor in New York, where I specialized in news magazine features and on-air promotions. Clients included television and cable stations, advertising agencies, music video producers and independent filmmakers.
From NYC, I relocated Lake Placid and developed a niche shooting, editing and producing sports programming and regional tourism programs.
A life-long interest in natural history and my production expertise lead to work for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). While at WCS, I was responsible for film, video, interactive media, website media creation, and special event production.
I started Pearl Productions LLC in 2000, where I continue to work in production and post-production. I specialize in project and digital content management and website design.
